Establishing your perfect bra size is the first step to owning and wearing beautiful lingerie. Follow these simple guidelines and you’ll be well on your way to building your own fashion statement from the start.

A bra size is made up of two measurements: the band size (example: 32, 34, 36) and the cup size (example: A, B, C).

For the best possible result, have someone else assist you in assessing your true measurements. This is not only faster, but tends to be more accurate.

Place your tape measure firmly but gently around your body, directly under your bust. Make sure that the tape measure is parallel to the floor by checking your front and back views in a mirror. Round up to the closest inch. (For example, if your measurement is 29 3/8 “ round to 29”; if it is 29 1/2 “, round to 30.)

If your number is even, add four inches.     If your number is odd, add five inches.

Now, on to your cup size. Once again, place the tape measure firmly but gently around the fullest part of your breasts. Round up or down to the nearest inch.

Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement. The difference is your cup size based on the chart below. (For example,38” (band size) – 34” (cup measurement) = 4 “ = D cup size.
